About myPrivateQR

myPrivateQR is an iOS application designed to create and manage private, encrypted QR codes. All QR codes are generated and stored locally on the user’s device. The app uses a proprietary encryption algorithm to protect QR content. Scanning can be secured with Face ID for additional safety. The app does not require creating an account or providing personal data beyond the username you choose. Some features, such as optional synchronization or code sharing for other users, may communicate with our server to store or retrieve encrypted QR codes.

Privacy Policy

1. Data Collection
We do not collect personal information such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers. The only data sent to our server is the username you select and the encrypted QR codes you decide to store.

2. Data Usage
Encrypted QR codes are stored solely for the purpose of making them available to you or to another user you choose. We never sell, share, or use your data for advertising purposes.

3. Security
All QR codes are encrypted with a proprietary algorithm. Local scanning is additionally protected with Face ID, if enabled on your device.

4. Third Parties
We do not integrate third-party analytics or advertising frameworks. The app does not share your data with external partners.

5. User Rights
You can delete your QR codes at any time directly within the app. If you have sent QR codes to the server, you can request their removal by contacting us.

6. Changes to this Policy
We may update this privacy policy as the app evolves. Updates will be published on this page.
